Inter-gym league
The Split League
Gym against gym, every month. Each gym races the same workout of runs and workstations on its own floor, and every athlete is timed live into one league table.
How the league works
- Join and get the kit. Your gym signs up for the season and enters its athletes. We send you the Split Line timing platform: mats, aerials, readers and numbered chips.
- We set the workout. A new workout every month, the same for every gym, so results compare fairly.
- Race on your own floor. Run the round at your gym. Every workstation is separated by a run, and every split is timed.
- One live league table. Athletes score points for their gym, and results from every gym land on the table as they happen.
The workout
Each month's workout is set by Split Line and built from equipment most gyms already have:
- Ski erg
- Rowing machine
- Air bike
- Wall balls
- Kettlebells
- Burpees
Every workstation is separated by a run, for example: run, ski erg, run, kettlebells, run, row, run, wall balls, run, air bike, run, burpees.
Scoring and categories
- A category for everyone: open, pro, masters and doubles, so every member can score for their gym.
- Individual and gym tables that build across every round of the season.
- Live in every gym: results on a screen at each gym and on every phone as athletes finish.
- Every round on record: each athlete's splits from every round, so they can see themselves improve.
What your gym needs
- The workout equipment: a ski erg, rowing machine, air bike, wall balls and kettlebells.
- Space for a run between each workstation, indoors or outside.
- Someone to run check-in, hand out the numbered chips and start each wave.
We send the timing platform and the round's workout. Your members bring the effort.
Why gyms join
- Members train towards a goal every month, not just once a year.
- Your gym competes against other gyms without anyone having to travel.
- Live results and league standings give members something to share, and new people a reason to walk in.
